While thinking to make the perfect gift for my friend, my mind turned to my   favorite stitch. :).

Wait till I finish. But not planning to do the exact one shown in the chart. More of a mixed media effort will suit my current mood.

Back in Colombo

After a relaxing weekend at home, back in Colombo. Just a sneak peak at the good times I had. :)

butterfly butterfly bring lusture to everyday stuff

I had this perfect bag....one amma bought from India....It was roomy to put a load in. Just what I need for my journeys to home and back. It was lightweight and strong. It got hacked by my constant use. So I decided to make one like that my self. So i recycled an old denim. I needed butterflies to add bit of cheer to the burden of carrying a heavy load.So here is my creation

Crazy Cat

I tend to be bit untidy when in a creative mood. In an attempt to choose the best ribbon my entire collection got strewn in the sofa. :) Our crazy cat jumped up to lend a paw and obviously found the process tedious and decided to take a nap on the spot.Time for me to take one to clear mine toooo. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

After catching the challenge bug

My mind is filled with greeting cards lately. So naturally for inspiration I was going through lots of blogs and that's how I discovered and then later caught the challenge bug.

 This is the first ever card I made for a challenge.Although the card came out pretty good the photo was simply terrible.So I decided not to disgrace myself by forwarding it.














But for my new found hobby the sky is definitely the limit and I kept striving to create something more beautiful and this is the next card I came up with.
